Redneck Computers

   Bob Shanks, aka The Old Redneck, is the Proud Founder and  President of Redneck Computers, a Division of Redneck Services, Inc. A native of the Springfield area for more than 25 years, Bob knows this area and the all the fine communities of the greater Ozarks!!  

    Bob's previous employment included being the General Manager of Palmer's Precision Automotive, a local automotive company, from  1987 to 2000, where he learned and honed his skills in business and exceptional customer service. These traits were carried forward and instilled into the Professional Staff of Redneck Computers.  

   In the spring of 1999, he decided to change career paths and started night classes at the local Vatterott College, where he graduated in the fall of 2000 at the top of his class with a degree in computer technology. While attending classes he received his A+, Network +, and MCP Certifications. Bob is a Microsoft Certified Professional on Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional and Microsoft Windows Server 2000. He is also continuing his studies and is currently pursuing his MCSA Certification.  Bob is also the outside Network Administrator for numerous local small business and manufacturing facilities.

   Bob also holds numerous certifications in Xerox, Lexmark, and Konica Minolta QMS printer products. He has also received training on many different manufactures of laser and dot matrix printers. His current studies continue to be on the many exciting and new printer technologies being manufactured today!!
